Friday Blog Hops (Oct 29)

Crazy-For-Books: "What is the one bookish thing you would love to have, no matter the cost?"

I'd like to have a big library that I can fill with different assortment of books. A library mean a bigger house. Well that's expensive. :) I am starting to buy books and I do take care of them and for me having a library can definitely preserve the books at some point instead of stuffing them in a box or cramming them in a tiny bookshelf. A library like this would be awesome,

Parajunkee's View: If you have, or would have a daughter, what book would you want your daughter to read?

As traditional as it seems, I would love to share historical fiction with my daughter. Books that talks about the older times when proper etiquette was practiced with courtship and family. It is nice to instill on a kid proper standard that she needs to look for in a relationship, to build a great family and know how to treat other people.

I just feel that society is declining especially in todays children because of too much violence and video games and Internet. The advancement is great no rejections from that but I don't like where we are heading. Something like that. No book in particular, and don't forget the classics. Those are self explanatory.

  18. Stopping by from the Hop. As a Historical Fiction devourer, I love the idea of sharing it with a young girl. The first author that comes to mind is Georgette Heyer for some reason.
