Lovers and  Beloved was submitted to me by Miranda for review and I accepted it knowing that it is erotic in nature. I said erotic because most part of the book did evolve around the sexual elements but it was not consumed by it. It is a fantasy novel which is shockingly realistic in nature which is rare for fantasy books.

Lovers and beloved is the first book in a series. A quick fact about this book - it was solely funded by her readers so that was a big factor why I got intrigued. I mean think about it, why would her readers fund the production of the story if it wasn't good right? And yes, the book is in fact good and worth reading. Though it contains a lot of characters and the story is complex, you will certainly enjoy reading it.

It is a great coming of age story as it tells us the story of Prince Temmin and his struggles from being a boy (17) to being the next Heir of the throne. It contains romance, political conflicts, humor, fantasy, and mystery. As it is the first book, it will somewhat come out short but it is good enough to become a follower of the series and watch out what will Miranda do to the story.  It has a great story line, well thought out and developed characters and not predictable.

It is not a book written for younger audience. It contains violence, explicit sexual content and harsh language. Worth recommending and rereading.
