Book Blogger Hop + Follow My Book Blog (Jan 14)

Crazy-For-Book: Why do you read the genre that you do?  What draws you to it?

I read a variety of genre. Most books that I read are murder mysteries, fantasy and Paranormal. I'm a fan of CSI and legal drama, it just has a certain pull. How a crime was made, why and how it was being solved. I love how a writer does complicated plot that doesn't seem predictable. Fantasy and Paranormal on the other hand was from watching Peter Pan and reading Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles. :) I always loved fairies, mermaid, ogres. I remember that I always draw fairies and mermaids in my notebook when I was a child. Vampire, well their just too sexy and hot! =)) I know a lot would agree on that.

Parajunkee: What makes up your non-human family??

Our household consists of a 2 dogs. Some of the previous pets that I owned were hamster, other dogs, and fishes. I wanted to have a rabbit and a cat but my partner doesn't want it. :)

  3. Thanks for stopping by (also a new follower). I love CSI and legal dramas as well, though i find it harder to read in books (I'm studying to be a paralegal so I think I get enough legal book learning!)

It seems a lot of us on the Blog Hop are eclectic readers!

  10. Here I am hopping on by...

I went all over the map with this question on my blog. I read and enjoy almost every genre of fiction out there. There’s no way I could just pick one.

So I talked about all of them. Even romance fiction (sort of)! I invite you to hop over to my blog at http://www.howardsherman.net and see for yourself.

  19. Ooooh, I typically read YA but I love a good mystery and/or legal drama. Jodi Picoult is my absolute favorite author in the latter genre.

Thanks for stopping by Book Love!! I'm going to have a look around Clandestine Sanctuary :)

  24. Hi, hopping on by a couple of days late, but I made it at last. Crime, fantasy and paranormal are all excellent choices in my opinion. And I'm loving the Goodreads bookshelves, especially since I spotted some Charlaine harris in there; I may have to sign up just for that feature alone.

  25. I'm slave to handful of kitties but it is fun with their wild antics.

I love many different books. What ever peaks my interest at that given time.

  26. I always wanted to have a bunny, but my mom won't let me:( I'm working on my dad to let me have another dog, as currently we only have one.

    :)
As for reading genres, I've never been patient enough for read Mysteries, :) I get intrigued very quickly and want to know it all at once, so you see how for me it's hard to read books where you only find out stuff at the end.

    :D Have a great week.
