Author: Charlaine Harris
Louisiana cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse has her hands full dealing with every sort of undead and paranormal creature imaginable. And after being betrayed by her longtime vampire love, Sookie must not only deal with a new man in her life-the shapeshifter Quinn-but also contend with the long-planned vampire summit.Review:
The summit is a tense situation. The vampire queen of Louisiana is in a precarious position, her power base weakened by hurricane damage to New Orleans. And there are some vamps who would like to finish what nature started. Soon, Sookie must decide what side she'll stand with. And her choice may mean the difference between survival and all-out catastrophe.
Another book from the Southern Vampire Series wherein Sookie continues to play her role in the supernatural community using her gift and wit. In this book, Sookie is accompanying Sophie-Ann and her entourage in a summit wherein she is going to trial for being accused of killing her husband. With desperation and the possibility of losing her power balance - Sophie-Ann asked Sookie to be with her in order to use her ability to their advantage.
All Together Dead is a book which contains a lot of action packed scene and like all the other books, Sookie remained strong, funny and independent in spite all the peculiarities in her life. There are a lot to love about this book. It was very entertaining, it wasn't boring, the characters were becoming more intriguing and I am liking where Harris is going with the series. As I said before, I am not too fond of Quin but let's see where it goes. There are a number of turning point for this book so I am very excited to read what will happen in book 8. To sum it up, All Together Dead is a fast and enjoyable read although there were parts that were predictable - All Together Dead is still a book worth indulging in.
