In the ensuing battles, Sookie faces danger, death, and once more, betrayal by someone she loves. And when the fur has finished flying and the cold blood finished flowing, her world will be forever altered.
To start off, From Dead to Worse seemed to be a little steady compared to the other books that had high drama and hard core fight scenes. Although this book contains some heart pumping action, it seemed a little mellow compared to most of the books in the series. A lot of things happened in this installment - a lot of characters had been introduced and a few that said bye bye, shift in power in both the weres camp and the vampires, Sookie's relationship seems to be going in a different direction and really there's a whole lot more.
What I love about this particular book is that it wasn't boring like some of the book in the series. There is still the humor and entertainment factor that I love which Harris seemed to have mastered with Sookie and the other characters, plus the effortless storytelling ability of Harris never seemed to fail me. I also loved how Harris seemed to take her time with the Sookie-Eric relationship which is why I am looking forward to reading the next installment of the series! :)
